Mission
We have several opportunities for you to encounter this year:

The Center For Hope
We continue our partnership with The Center for Hope in Ambridge. The Center assists those in need with food, clothing, literacy training and more. Each third Thursday of the month (dependent upon calendar) we host a dinner at the Center. Contact Elizabeth Szuba if you would like to be involved.

Congregational Action Team (CAT)
The Congregation Action Team exists to meet various needs in our church family and the local community. A committed team of members help out - from mowing lawns and raking leaves to minor home repairs. If you would like to be a part of this or think you could use CAT’s services, contact Breffny Madden.

Habitat for Humanity International
This nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness. This Fall, we will be partnering with the Beaver County chapter to work on the construction of two new homes in Beaver Falls and Freedom. We’ll work together the second Saturday of each month.

The Ladle
The Ladle is an ecumenical soup kitchen housed at the Presbyterian Church in Ambridge and is open to anyone in need. Dinner is served every Monday at 5:30 PM. TPCS has committed to serving dinner at The Ladle four times per year. A team of eight volunteers is needed for each meal. If you would like to be part of a team please contact Carol Weir.

Produce to People
| Our congregation is one of five from the Pittsburgh area who are joining forces with the Greater Pittsburgh Food Bank to bring fresh produce to the northside. This will be held the 3rd Saturday of every month from 8 to noon. Anyone 12 and older is welcome. To add your name to our email list contact Sarah Heres.

Refugee Resettlement
Charities, TPCS has committed to welcoming families to the Sewickley area and helping them to build a new life. We have already resettled 7 adults and 3 children locally and we are committed to continuing in these efforts. We need all hands on board. You can serve on a care team, drive to appointments, help to furnish apartments, assist in the employment search or help with childcare. You can be a friend. Contact Sandy Clem for more details.
